At Llanidloes Dental Practice we try to make sure that all of our patients see just one dentist on an ongoing basis. however, if for some reason this is not possible, we shall make alternative appointments for you to see another dentist at the practice.

Emergencies

Please call the practice at the earliest opportunity during practice hours if you are in urgent need of medical care. We will do our best to see you on the same day. Outside of our practice hours, please contact the Wales NHS Direct for emergency advice by clicking on this section or telephoning 0845 4647.

Patient Confidentiality

Llanidloes Dental Practice realises the right of every patient to have information about themselves kept secure and private. Information given to any member of staff will remain confidential and will not normally be disclosed without the patients permission. Full details of our confidentiality policy are available from our practice manager.

Freedom of Information Act

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public a right to access to all types of information about themselves held by Public Authorities, including, the health services. Please ask the practice manager if you require a copy of the practice information act policy. Please note there will be a small charge for any information provided under this act.

Complaints

We aim offer a service to our patients, without any valid reason for them to make a complaint.  However. We also aim to fully comply with and support the complaints procedure are recommended by the General Dental Council.  If you are unhappy about the dental treatment or service provided to you by the Llanidloes Dental Practice, you should first address your complaint to Dr Hako Sobhani at our surgery.  If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may then contact either the NHS, or the General Dental Council.  Links to the NHS are provided on this website.
